Pdf Summary
An error was identified and corrected in the 9th edition of the "Antithrombotic Therapy and Prevention of Thrombosis" guidelines by the American College of Chest Physicians. This correction pertains to Table 6 in the section regarding antithrombotic therapy in neonates and children, as originally published in Chest (2012). Specifically, the error was in the maintenance oral anticoagulation dose guidelines, where the second line in the first column incorrectly listed a range of "1.15-1.9" which should have been "1.5-1.9". The online version of the article has been updated to reflect this correction.

Additionally, a correction has been made to the sponsor statement in a paper titled "A Preliminary Quality of Life Questionnaire-Bronchiectasis: A Patient-Reported Outcome Measure for Bronchiectasis," published in Chest (2014). The error involved a lack of detail regarding the sponsors’ contributions. The revised statement clarifies that Behavioral Health Systems Research, owned by Dr. Alexandra L. Quittner, sponsored the initial development of the QOL-B study through an investigator-initiated grant covering phases up to the open-label responsivity phase. Dr. Quittner was involved in the design, analysis, and implementation processes. Additionally, Gilead Sciences sponsored the Phase 2 open-label treatment study and provided statistical analysis of the data. They also hired a medical writer for manuscript assistance, and some authors reviewing the manuscript were associated with Gilead Sciences. Dr. Quittner managed the manuscript's organization and the integration of feedback from other authors into the final draft. This clarification has also been updated online.
