Pdf Summary
An erratum notice from the journal CHEST highlights corrections in two separate articles.

First, in the article “Tracheobronchopathy From Inhaled Corticosteroids” (CHEST, 2017), errors in Table 1 were noted. The authors clarify that the table was meant to guide physicians in identifying high-dose inhaled corticosteroids rather than providing strict dose equivalences. Incorrect dosage ranges for several inhaled corticosteroids—including beclometasone dipropionate, budesonide, mometasone furoate, and triamcinolone acetonide—were identified and have since been corrected. The corrected dosage ranges are now available online. Notably, the corrections are primarily directed towards more accurate categorization of corticosteroid dosages into low, medium, and high categories for clinical use.

Second, in the article “Deaths Related to Bronchial Arterial Embolization in Patients With Cystic Fibrosis: Three Cases and an Institutional Review” (CHEST, 2016), an authorship correction was made. Eric J. Monroe, MD, Assistant Professor at Radiology, Seattle Children’s Hospital, should be listed as the second author. This update has also been made to the online version of the article.

The detailed corrections emphasize precise clinical usage and correct representation of contributors, illustrating the journal's commitment to accuracy in academic publishing.
