Goal
Provide a self-assessment program for advanced practice providers in critical care medicine. The self-assessment is designed to reinforce training and experience, disseminate new knowledge in the fields, and identify areas of strengths and weaknesses within specific areas of disease and/or procedural knowledge.

Objectives
By completing the questions and reviewing the rationales, participants should be able to:

  1. Evaluate real-life patient cases, diagnoses, and treatments.
  2. Apply research findings and recommended guidelines to diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  3. Differentiate between proper and improper management of patient cases.
  4. Use scientific research and recommendations to identify solutions to real-world clinical problems.
